The big question is, if you don’t already know it, Why are we here? What is your purpose for existing? Your life? Is it simply to be a part of the rat race? To spend your life climbing the ladder of success so that one day you can sit back with a glass of wine and cigar and stare at your accomplishments.
When you pass on from this world, what will you leave behind? Wealth, a fine estate, perhaps your collection of art. Will you leave behind a family who won’t miss you or your way of being.
Society has dictated until you and many others what success and fortune looks like. Prestige collages, seven-figure incomes, the house on the beach, and yes, that fine wardrobe. If we aren’t constantly purchasing we aren’t happy. The rich get richer because we are consumers of stuff.
