Shalom.
Torah outside of G-d would not exist. Man without Torah would not exist.
G-d revealed Himself to our Jewish people some thirty-four hundred years ago. A revelation to a complete nation. It cannot be denied or played down.
He has made known His ways, [Torah] to our people. Through study we can come to the understanding of every letter, each letter has a value and a purpose. You and I have a purpose.
Prior to the giving of Torah, the nations of the world had their own theologies, belief systems and man-made gods. Their gods aren’t gods at all. Looking back since the giving of Torah we can see that not much as changed. Kingdoms have come and gone.
Judaism teaches that one can elevate his life through the study of Torah and good deeds, while at the same time acknowledging it is through G-d that we exist and live. This belief should cause joy. We have the ability to transform our nature, character and direction each and every day.
Christianity is all together different. It is taught that one has salvation based on the acceptance of j-sus c-rist. Only through him, do they claim. Unfortuantely this is a claim that is well accepted throughout the world’s mases.
Regarding Ch. 14, why, would you say, does Moshe need to perform a second miracle? First he raised his hand over the sea to part them and then a second time to return them.
